I was on a 960 mile load. Notice I said was. I said numerous times Friday when I got the load, "Are you sure? I have hometime starting Wednesday and it's going to be difficult to get me back from deep in MS." I was assured it was no problem. Got my backhaul today and no way was that going to happen, so they yanked me off my load. Had me drop at ellenwood and now I am so fortunate to have to wait until tomorrow night to haul a Havertys load back up to Colonial Heights for Monday morning. A 24 hour layover-which I sure as heck will be putting in for. Guess they're showing me who's boss. Lost probably 1400 miles. But, you know what? I'm looking forward to my vacation and I don't care.

    Nope. Not me either.

Nope, wasn't being sarcastic. Was being incredulous.

RC: Are you sure? I have hometown Wednesday
Dispatch: uhhhhhhh, what? Yea, yea, sure.....no problem.
*two mins later* ....what did she say...she's good yeah.
They paid me $330.00 on my breakdown/layover when I had to stay in a hotel about a month ago. I hope you get what you put in for.

I just want something less lagtastic. I had Commodore 64 with a cassette tape drive that ran smoother.

The new ones still dont read any better than the older ones. Only thing that's good is, you can completely black out the screen at night, and the green/orange/red light on the bottom home button.

Its the touchscreen responsiveness or lack thereof that ticks me off. And then you get that infernal hourglass and "please wait" because it is struggling with changing from messages to hos.

I wish this forum had the different emojis like Facebook. I totally laughed out loud at this! I was thinking about an 8 track we had when I was a kid. You'd have to listen to the whole thing because you couldn't fast forward it.

Don't forget the sexy voice. I think that's kinda cool. Even if it is a woman.

Sorry to hear about Mark (Scooterdawg). As I remember, he was in pretty good shape 5 years ago. Good guy. Though, he jobhopped a bit. Guess I should stop skipping my cholesterol pill. Who cares if it causes early onset of dementia. Things are going really well for me after six months at Perdue. Just upgraded my wife's ride. I guess it was about time that I outgrew stupid! LMAO! Hey RC, ENJOY YOUR VACATION!!
