Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I grew up there, but haven't lived there in 30 years. I might be able to provide some insight, depending on the question. But my info isn't exactly up-to-date.

 

I'm at 68 pedal, 71 cruise

 

Beware... pilot that's beside the wytheville yard. Slow pumps. 14mins for 10 gallons of def

 

I actually called PFJ customer service last week about that. Got a return phone call from the manager of that Pilot. He swears they are working on the problem and it will be fixed any day now.

Guess we will find out next week.

 

On the bright side, at least if its slow I don't have to worry about the constant autostop on the nozzle. I never get bulk DEF at Loves because I can never get it to flow more than two seconds.

 

I hate when that happens!

 

Why the difference in speed between pedal and cruise? They want you to run on cruise and this is an incentive?

 

I think that is exactly the reason.

 

Get some new drives and you will hit 73 easy...where legal and safe to do so, obviously.

 

There is sweet spot, you have to become one with the DEF nozzle, envision the smooth flow. I find closing my eyes and thinking of a soft babbling brook helps.
