Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Mine seems to think that he is the beginning, middle and the end of everything AND proceeds to let me know just how little I know about what goes on in the office to get me loads, and how much my opinion does not matter. The fact that I used to be head of dispatch for Smithfield Packing before they sold the fleet to CR England (meaning I did window duty, DM duty and planner duty all day, every day) means nothing to him. I'm still just a dumb truck driver. His initials are also AD. I'm extremely tired of the whole dance I have to do to stroke his ego. And I'm getting tired of the subtle (and not so subtle) shenanigans.

To top it all off, after 5.5 years of me taking my truck home either under a load or empty, my living halfway between Richmond and VA Beach, where we pick up in Chesapeake pretty much every day, is suddenly an issue. Or at least to him it is. I spoke to a different higher ranking person than him and that person was befuddled as well as to why he has chosen to nit pick this issue. But....whatever. I'm just going to be zen about the whole thing and get the proverbial ducks in a row, then watch as the turds fall because my B switch is just about at the tipping point of being flipped.
