That is true, but when they have to take at least 100 strands and you are a gal with thin hair to begin with, let's just say it's noticeable. I don't care who you are, that's a lot of hair.

 

I don’t have 100 strands of hair on my head. Am I exempt?

 

Well, dang... I’ll never qualify now...

 

But honestly... 100 strands?
Seems a bit much to me.

100 strands is not really that much. I had the hair test at Knight. In the ladies room at the terminal strangely enough.

 

And they will take it from anywhere. If you don't have on your head or arms! I whent through that with them year's ago.

 

Tell that to the bald spots I now have on my head. My hair is thin enough without having it butchered. I've had the hair test for a different job before and it was nowhere near as messed up as this. The guy just took a straight line across the back of my head. This was about almost a dime size cutting in 4 different locations. THAT'S what I'm upset about. Not the fact that it's being done now. I know I'm clean. But it looks horrible and I sure as heck hope it doesn't have to be done very often. It's all in the technique.

 

The nurse was telling me about a guy who had alopecia and the company wanted a hair test. They had to call and explain that he had no hair anywhere and ask how they wanted to proceed.
