Having driven a majority of manufacturers auto transmissions, I’d say the iShift is the best auto on the market. They are very smooth when reversing and backing into docks and such. The Detroit DT12 in the Freightliners is solid too but I feel like iShift still outperforms it

DT12 creep mode takes some beating. The iShift I drove certainly didnt compare.

While at Abilene, I drove mostly Volvos but also a KW for a few weeks... pros and cons to both... some will like one, some will like the other... competition is good to keep everyone improving their products...

I’ve driven all the manufactures transmission here over the last 6 years. Even though I have had a KW the last 4 years, the worst transmission is in a KW, the best is in a Volvo. I usually drive my transmission in manual mode from a stop or in city traffic. It’s a total mystery to me why I have to be subjected to go through every gear when empty, at least the Volvo can skip a gear or two.

Anyone got pointers for someone's inaugural trip to the Pennsauken Stay Fresh? I seem to recall folks having particulars about the place.
Silverdriver Thanks this.
