Still feels like the old ones. You get the sway like (washing machine effect) often. It's easy to get use to though.
@JohnBoy...thanks for your help with my pickup today. Took 4.5 hours and there is a parking spot just around the corner.

Made the mistake of listening to one of the Halloween stations on Pandora this morning. It played The Walking Dead theme while I was on 285 going around Atlanta.

On an unrelated note, gotta get a new seat installed in the truck.

Got an assignment yesterday to haul Hill-Phoenix coolers to a construction site in Charleston, SC. Assignment came with a note telling me to stage at the rest area off I-26 at mile marker 203, and they would call me when they were ready for me to roll in.

I wasn't able to make it all the way last night, so I got up at 4:30am to get here by 6:00am, and there were already three other Abilene trucks here. Now there's eight or so. And we're all waiting.

My appointment was at 7:00am. It's now 10:15. I've called my DM and let him know the situation, he has assured me that yes, they have my phone number, and yes, they will call me when they're ready. Put in the detention macro an hour ago and am now getting paid to play Civilization 5.

Do you have to be a trainer to get out west with Abilene?

No, but you are more likely to wind up out west as a team driver than as a solo driver. And since trainers are team ops when they're training, they wind up out there fairly often.

    JohnBoy and otismyman Thank this.
