Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Still here at the rest area. It is noon, and I still have not been called for my 7:00am delivery appointment.

 

Yeah that stinks,I remember taking one going to Tennessee,thinking yeah ill be in and out,only to have 10 other abilene drivers show up.

 

Has anybody else left yet?

 

Just me and another driver now. I'm next to go, waiting for the call.

Turns out the dude who was running the show was out here at the rest area. I saw him walking around but thought he was another Abilene driver. I was sitting in the back of my truck and could see him clearly, but apparently he couldn't see me and thought I was asleep so he didn't knock on my truck.

 

Turns out they called the other guy first. So I'm the last one here. They're gonna call me in about 15 minutes, so I'll be leaving here about 30 minutes before my 10 hour reset completes.

 

I'm at "Florida Natural Growers" and they don't recognize any of the numbers or information for picking up the load. I have 1.26 left on my clock and they won't let me spend the night here!
Life is fun!

 

Make sure you put in for detention.

 

Hopefully they will wait until your 10 is over... then they will send you a load and you can start your next 14...
