Just an ideal, you should start a day by day thread for that company. Maybe it would grow into a thread like this one.

How's the truck? Is it auto? Where all do they run? I dont know anything about them at all.

Well, had a surprise yesterday when I came to work. Seems I am now a local driver (and for local pay too)-at least for a little while. Although this “opportunity “ was presented to me, I’m not really sure I want to be a local driver, but I’m not sure it was a request, if you know what I mean.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this.

I'm not cell phone or computer savvy.. What do they mean for example for "Data" you will pay extra? Is that like if I use Google or internet my cost goes up?

Example: you get a certain amount of data-say 24 gigs- to use in a month. Streaming takes a lot of data. Facebook and Google takes less, but still uses your data up. But if anyone else in your plan has a smartphone, they share it as well. And 24 gigs doesn’t go far. I switched to unlimited data-stream, surf, FB all you want and no chance of going over and having to pay an ungodly amount for each gig you go over your plan amount.

I'm on the "Beyond Unlimited" data plan, the name of which causes me agita because there really shouldn't BE "beyond" unlimited, because "unlimited" means "unlimited and there should be nothing "beyond" it.

    But I digress.

I have no data cap, so I can stream music non-stop while I'm driving without having to worry about whether or not I'm close to my data limit. And now that I've figured out how to hook my laptop up to my tablet without Verizon flagging it as "mobile hotspot data", I can stream NFL football and Japanese cartoons and I can download horrendously large video games and so on. Best thing I've done since getting in the truck.

Rarely run into anyplace that doesn't have Verizon connectivity, so that's also a nice bonus.

    Thank you!
I'm going to check Verizon when I get home.

Going for Verizon. Most of the time I'm in the truck with a mayor extreme unlimited boredom! Lol!
If I get to see half of a you tube movie I'm lucky!
Thanks RC and Extreme Unction for the tips and 5 speed! :D when I get home next week... Verizon here I come!

Ya, we get like a 19% discount on our current plan... we don’t if we go unlimited... BUT they do still give a Military Discount on the Unlimited Plans... I went shopping both T-Mobile & Verizon today.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

“Beyond” includes better video (720p vs 480p), you don’t get throttled until after 22Gb, and includes 15Gb of hotspot data. (Compared to just Regular Unlimited)

But if you can bypass that directly then the hotspot issue is moot.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.
