I got a load finally from Ohio to be dropped at the West Memphis Abilene terminal.
Ten thousand pounds of broken hangers.. started driving at 3:00 AM and took 57 south to 55 south ect.
It was raining hard and very windy; two hours into the trip I decided to park the truck and wait for the weather to settle down a bit, and after waiting almost 2 hours I started again.
I went down the road and started counting the number of truck drivers with there trucks flip into the ditch.
1,2,3, 4 and the last one was a fatality!
I remember growing up in Brooklyn, NY there was a TV commercial that said. "You don't fool around with mother nature"

Sitting here at Halls in North Jersey. Appointment was for 9:00am. I got here at 8:40am. It is now 11:50am. I bumped a dock an hour ago, and still no movement from the truck to indicate that I am being unloaded.

Once again time to get paid to play video games.

Apparently I'm not the only one who's been here a while. I just saw someone deliver Chinese food to the truck next to me. I've seen that happen at truck stops before, but this is the first time I've seen someone do it in a dock.

Down the road when you come out on the left side is an Indian store where they make some delicious subs!
You have to turn left at the road before the store and come back to park on the right side of the street.
