Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

We drink lots of Gatorade. Diluted 50/50 with water. We get the large canister of powder and refill our bottles, so we only buy about 4 bottles per month. Very cheap way to have drinks out here, and it is about 1/4 or less of the sugar in soda. I quit soda shortly after i started trucking.

 

Day started off with the woman at the Staples DC putting blatently false in/out times on my BOL; Wytheville responded with, "LOL doesn't work that way."

For lunch I got pulled into the scalehouse on 20 just inside Alabama for an inspection; cop took one look at the truck, said, "level three," took my papers and passed me in less than ten minutes.

End of my day, I got a golfclap and nod of approval from a man clearly north of his seventies, fueling his RV next to me at the Loves, who overheard me whistling 'Man of La Mancha' while fueling my tractor.

Had a nice salad today from subway in Orientation and had a Coke for the first time in some time and the damnn thing had 65g of added sugar... ok, back to my sun tea for me.

Typical dinner in the truck. We hate Subway. This is ribeye, grilled at home. Some Marie Callander Mac and cheese, and we always keep salad fixings in the truck. My GF cooks a lot of meat all at once. We vacuum seal it in 2-4 portion bags and bring it with us frozen.

 

About 6pm, in AZ.
