Is that big cow farm with the mountain of cow dump. The first time I went through I made the mistake of opening my truck windows thinking that I could get some fresh air.
It back fired on me. Awfully! LOL!

 

It’s a stock yard.

 

That big mountain is cow feed not cow crap.

 

Flashbacks to my youth... had a friend whose father was a Hog Farmer... he always said the same thing... “Smells like Money”... LOL

 

Does “Official” pay any better???
If not, it’s just a title... I’ll be ok...

 

Soooo... what did I learn today???

1.) the Shop is still the Shop... report four things to be fixed and two get done... {shrug}... I’m seeing Breakdown in my future.

2.) if one goes to Jarrett to pick up trailer #5237, they will flat out refuse to let you leave with #5273... I don’t know why.

3.) MD can still back straight and around a 90 degree corner to place #5273 right back where it came from.

4.) did y’all know there is a new button on the trucks that allow you to release the King Pin from inside the cab? I do, well now I do.

5.) I can already tell that I’m not going to be friends with the “hey Driver there’s a vehicle in front of you” system... {rolls eyes}

6.) there is a new(er) Loves just south of the old(er) Pilot in Chillicothe.

7.) Richmond to Jarrett to Groveport is further than I remember it... took 10.5 hours to get here... I blame the “hey driver, there’s a vehicle in front of you” system... {rolls eyes again}

8.) I dropped my first load two hours after the payroll cutoff for this year... so I’m ahead of the ball for 2019!!!!

9.) it’s bedtime... goodnight moon

 

Oh and...

10.) the headlights on the 2017 Volvos are MUCH brighter than the 2015 Volvos

I was actually excited about that discovery

Now if they would only make it so the landing gear and, air lines and pigtail would automatically lower and disengage you wouldn’t even have to get out of the truck. LOL

A candle blowing in the wind would be brighter than the older Volvo headlights!
