    New and improved... lol

Is that permanently installed like you have to avoid hitting it while bumping the dock?

Good Call... nothing we haul can’t be delayed a day for valid safety concerns!!! I can’t imagine ruining my day/week and possibly my job like that.

    Again, good call.

Oh I’ll get used to it but let’s see...

I think I now have two options while making a normal attempt at passing... pass like normal and have lights and buzzers going off... (ya, not a distraction at all) ... or begin my pass 300 feet sooner and block traffic in the left lane for 30 minutes while I complete the pass just to keep from tripping the warning system...

    what’s not to like???

Oh, and I do so dearly love how if you get slightly too close to another vehicle, (and by “too close” I mean a football field) it turns off your cruise control and suddenly you find yourself cruising down the road at 60 mph ... while losing all your momentum... ya, great for both drive time and fuel economy... lol

OMG... I’m now sounding like some “Old Trucker” complaining about this “new fangled technology”... LOL :D

That's permanently; and you have to be about 3 inches from that contraption! To bump the dock correctly. Fun, fun, fun.can they continue to make things harder for a truck driver!!!

    MidWest_MacDaddy and JohnBoy Thank this.

Hard to run over it. It’s designed to move as you back the trailer in. After you’ve used them a couple of times you’ll like them. It actually makes the job easier.

These have been in use for several years now. You won’t be seeing them at any postage stamp size locations either. Which is a good thing.

Well... washed and ready to go... that is to go to a Volvo Dealership on the way back to Wytheville.

Whistling, Hissing, and telling me to check the Transmission at my next stop... which they did at WM...

Well so far they fixed an exhaust leak which “was the cause”... then in WM they replaced the Turbo which “was the cause”.... lol

This is going to be an awesome Truck!!!
Seriously, it’s a bit of a rough start but it’s going to be a fine truck once we get it a touch of TLC ... and a Certified Volvo Mechanic... lol

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

Mine just had a PM... I don’t know what all is done in a PM but shouldn’t an exhaust leak under the cab be found during it? Or is a PM just an Oil Change, Grease Job, and Iut the Door?
