Glad you made it. I got a qualcomm message from our Safety director yesterday telling me you were in orientation. Good luck, like what has been said already, if you have any questions just ask. If you need my phone number, Sally in recruiting will give it to you, just call her up and ask her for it. Tim also sent me an email about you. He spoke very highly about you from your days at Perdue.

I'm sitting here at the Love's in Polk City Fl, 15 miles to my delivery that I need to be at 1pm tomorrow. I guess I'll enjoy my stay, no sense biotching about it. I'll be home about 6 tomorrow night. I plan on coming out of the house Monday. I need to get Brian on my truck so I can finish his training. Here's what I did since leaving the house exactly 2 weeks ago.....

Miramar Fl to Madison Ga to Richmond Va........................................1151
Richmond Va to El Paso Tx ............................................................1905
    Reset................................................................................................
El Paso Tx to Deming NM to West Memphis Ar..................................1291
West Memphis Ar to Forrest City Ar to Groveport Oh...........................676
Groveport Oh to Ft Worth Tx, San Antonio 5 drops.............................1345
San Antonio Tx to Laredo Tx to Weimar Tx.........................................431
    Weimar Tx to Lakeland Fl...............................................................1065
Lakeland Fl to Lake Worth Fl............................................................176

That comes out to 8040 miles and 4 extra stops. Payroll wise this is part the last pay period and part this pay period. My last 2 week go around prior to this one was 8095 miles with a reset in the middle also. My point to all this is this, it's here if you want it. I've been very fortunate so far since I've been here. It took me my first 6 months to learn the system, knowing how our freight runs, what days to be in Richmond and getting what I consider the best driver manager in Tim. Add to that equipement that has not left me stranded, and a host of other people on the inside that keeps me rolling, including the planners, and night dispatch, I can't ask for anything more. I'm going to say this, I had it real good at Calex, I can honestly say I have it just as good here at Abilene. I've said it numerous times, do your job, handle issues in a professional manner, and comminicate, all the while doing it safely, and you too can be a happy camper (trucker driver) like me. Time to call the wife and say goodnight, be safe all, God Bless.

JB, looking forward to it! Unwinding for a few in my bunk. Loving the 2014 Cascadia. Very easy to operate and comfortable too. Drove my 11 from Miami ( took almost 4 hours to get out of metro Miami due to a series of crashes on 95) to Homerville GA. Pleased that I caught the wrong trailer # was on the BOL at 0200 and got the shipper to check the load and confirm we had the right trailer. Bound for southern Va now. Guess they are going to keep us east coast in anticipation of getting on JBs truck sometime next week. Stay safe and good night all!!
