I love getting home a day late for home time then being contacted a day early about rolling out... oops... ya, that was fixed but still.

Also, heading back to RVA where I will be assigned my third truck in now a little over two months... not fond of swapping trucks at all... I’d like to have a stable “house” while on the road... let’s see what’s waiting for me back on the Yard... and hoping it lasts me for a couple years.

    Ya well, one can hope.

It continues to amaze me ... they thought I was coming out yesterday... they knew yesterday that I would be ready this morning... send a QC that Driver/Truck is ready...

“oh, ok... ya, well ... the Planner will be here soon. He will send you something then.”

Guess I’ll go back to bed for a bit... lol

Tomorrow I celebrate my wife birthday also; she was born on February 15 and she is turning 62 years old. Me and the children are going to celebrate her birthday. Stay safe everyone!

What’s that saying? The more things change, the more they stay the same?

    And the amazement continues...

So, heading to RVA today to swap trucks... it’s been probably two weeks since they knew they were pulling my truck off the road...

So, I’ll hit the yard, swap out trucks and get the heck out of RVA... phone call... DM... they discovered a problem with the truck... stay in yours over the weekend... blah blah blah... ok... I really don’t want to change anyway.

Drop trailer on the yard and get a TO to BT to Wytheville.... strange but ok... I’ll go Verify it just to double check...

I get there... our new DDM said hop in 1813.... ok, but is this the same truck that they just found an issue with? Because I don’t want it if... No... (I guess there was no truck earlier.... lol).... ok, I’ll check it out... swap and roll in the morning...

Found it... finally... dead batteries.... and the door to the freezer compartment is completely gone... I’m not looking any further... headed to my old truck and rolling my last 2.5 hours of my day towards Wytheville.

I knew I was just being tossed from truck to truck... I wonder if my first 1789 ever got fixed... maybe I can move back into that one... lol

Kind of getting rather tired of this circus. :(

Welp truck out of the shop, get up the road and the air leaks out, gotta come right back to the shop.

If its not fixed today, they can give me another truck,or I'm cleaning it out.
