Pulled a trl from Damche this morning with the following issues: abs light on, license plate light not working, and (wait for it) the shoe was missing off the right side landing gear. Really? How do ya miss THAT?

Next trip to Damche, picked up a trl with a bent rim and flat tire.

Not to mention all the mtys I haul from our own yard and have to have fixed before they can even go anywhere.

WTH people? Doesn’t ANYONE do a post trip anymore?

Speaking of trailer issues... I was leaving West Jeff last night with an empty and I notice the trailer ahead of me had no lights... no markers, no breaks... nothing... then I notice that it was one of our trailers... when he stopped at the gate to check out I of course hopped out to let the driver know...

He was not happy.... cussing and yelling about these blankety blank Company trailers.... both I and the security guard just looked at each other... like wow... maybe I shouldn’t have said anything... lol

He pulled up as I went through check out and I was going to follow him if he left the lot (for safety)... but he pulled up and stopped and had them working before I could pass him... so whatever it was, it was a simple fix.

Or maybe he just forgot to plug in the green line.

 

Im betting the green cable was loose or not plugged in at all.

 

Ya, I really want to know now... lol
But I didn’t have the guts to stop and ask.

 

Yesterday morning a Stevens transport truck merged on the highway from the Pilot at exit 300 on I 80 in Nebraska. I smelled rubber burning before I even got to him. His leftt rear trl wheel was frozen. I yelled at him on the radio with no response. I started flashing my lights no response. I started tapping my horn as i pulled equal to his cab and the idiot never even looked over at me. I gassed on it to get away from him and thought to myself well at least theirs a t/a at exit 305 cause hes gonna need a service call.
