    Agreed... weakest link... cull the herd a bit.
    {Our new DDM has his hands full}

    I don’t mind pushing back on my DM or whoever back behind that window, but come on, driver screwing around with the time of another Driver... that’s just all kinds of wrong.

    Ok, so I’m having “fun” with a brokered load... no surprise there and I’ll save you all the details... as “Brokered Load” says it all.

    But...

    Here are our new communication guidelines...

    If one uses our “preferred method” of communication (the Company provided and paid for communication tool which resides inside the truck, that several people behind the window can see it and respond to it) to communicate an issue with said Broker Load, then one must call in to tell someone to read said message and then be able to document to whom you spoke and asked to read said Communications... got it??? Good!!!

    So, I’m thinking the following will do;
    1.) Drop QC message about issue at hand.
    2.) Call to remind them to read message.
    3.) Drop a second QC with the Name.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

    I usually do it the other way around. I call 'em first, and then tell 'em I'm sending a QC message to cover my butt in case things go all pear-shaped. Then I send the QC message. This eliminates the necessity for step three.

    Also: You guys seem to have a lot more trouble with broker loads than I do. I can go weeks at a time without ever calling HQ.

    Well, that would save a step... just reporting with what I learned today... lol ... but but but... the QC is the preferred communication tool... ;-)
