Back on the road after my impromptu vacation. First stop: Miami. (Well, Miami Gardens.)

I think I would've preferred to stay home another day, honestly. :D

Yes.. does your truck have the automatic climate? Mine started where it would get stuck blowing hot or cold, then magically go back to maintaining the temperature it’s set at after awhile. They replaced the controller, it worked right for a week or so and now as soon as I stop I lose heat. Works fine going down the road but at idle no heat. We had another new Volvo develope the same issue and a new heater core fixed it. Bunk heat/air has worked fine the whole time tho

Thanks for the information. Today a new problem has appeared!
Now when it rains water is getting accumulated some where in the cubby holes and comes pouring down the center cubby; and on top of the Qualcomm. My old Kenworth had the same problem and the water came down on me.
I was baptized 13 time's inside that Kenworth!

The problem in the KW was caused by the marker light gaskets. They are notorius for that.

    Thanks for the info.
My original windshield was replaced because of a rock hitting and making it's damage. Since it's replacement I've been hearing some weird sounds. Tomorrow I will ask Abilene to please make plans on having that windshield check, marker lights, ect.
It's JB already gone on its vacation trip?

    MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

I had a windshield replaced on a 680. It took the glass company three tries to get it sealed. It made some very strange and highly annoying noises. I finally recorded the sound on my phone so they could hear it.

And everyone rags on Freightliners for raining inside the cab lol.

I actually can’t mount my CB until mine is fixed “properly”. That’s the main splash point. I may give my company the Freightliner service bulliten that includes the names of the right products to use.

One thing it doesn’t it doesn’t say to do is just goop sealant everywhere like they are doing now.
