Dennis just mastered Indianapolis traffic. We are on our way west with a 3 stopper. Reno and Sacramento on Sunday and Emeryville, .CA on Monday. If he keeps up we should be on Team mode in no time.

Delivered load in St Paul Deadhead to Green Bay in AM grabbing a load to Salem, VA for Monday del.

 

Get in touch with your dispatcher to see if you can drop that load at the Wytheville yard and grab something else to keep rolling. That's if you have the hours and want to keep rolling.

 

Anyone heard from BB? I called his cell but haven't heard back from him.

RC, you'll like this one. Delivered this AM and sent in my empty. Hour later sent a freeform saying I was empty. Local came in and delivered the load of another driver I picked up with and left. Total time empty was 2 1/2 hours so I called in. Was on hold for awhile and then went to voicemail. So I called in and got Tim. Asked him what was up since it's been awhile. He told me to hold on and he'll get me over to my new FM. I said I have a new FM. He said yes Kimberly. Gee go figure.

BB no longer works here. I found out some news yesterday about him that was very unsettling. I sent him a text message last night that he finally responded to at 3:30 this morning. Let's just say I'm very concerned.

 

Man that's too bad.

 

Brandon my new trainee is doing great so far. He knows nothing, and doesn't get lost in a truck stop. We left the Richmond yard at 5:30 this morning and am just about to Walcott Iowa. We will be ending our day there. I'll be meeting up with Master Yoda and we'll both be leaving about 6am in the morning and run across the rest of this wonderful country the rest of the weekend.

 

I need to brag about my DM Tim, I spoke to him about my vacation time. Before my wife and I finalized our plans I asked him what the procedure was for getting vacation in the system, not so much for the pay, that will be there, but I wanted to make sure it was in the system. He told me the policy is to give at least a months notice. I told him that my wife and I were planning a 10 day cruise the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It needs to go through him. He told me to send in a Qualcomm macro with the info and it would be taken care of. I forgot to do it and this morning when we stopped for breakfast he sent me an email reminding me to send it in. I got into the truck, filled out the macro and sent it in. By the time I hit the on ramp I got my confirmation from him that it was entered into the system and approved. The dude is a diamond in my life, I enjoy working here, and it has a lot to do with my work relationship with him.
