Rant of the Day:

Pick up Gatorade load from Wytheville to Mountain Top... ready now to be delivered ASAP... ok... get to Wytheville Yard... grab trailer... and roll... stop at Scale...

Overweight by 600 freaking pounds!!!!

Round Trip Scale to Scale... 3 hours!!!

I know it’s probably easy to pick up and drop a Gatorade to the Yard without scaling... but darn... and then once again Gatorade is giving us yet another heavy load... and no, it’s not a reefer trailer either...

So now I worked for free and driving three hours later into the night...

Going by the safety message we received about violations i'd say the company probally has alot of driver's that don't care.

 

I had the same experience about a year ago. When you get there if they send you back with another load of Gatorade be careful "Mountain top" also has a bad habit of over loading.

 

I’m not a betting man but even I would toss a paycheck into that action... lol

 

Bobtailed out for my ten and will return after but only picking up an empty for a LLD a bit further down the mountain heading to RVA.

And dang but I bet this whole area sucks to deliver in during an Ice or Snow Storm... lol

 

And that is the reason the other driver didn't do it.

 

But it’s more efficient for the first driver to do it at the time... and if said First Driver is a Local Driver, they are getting paid by the hour... and pretty easy to set on the Scales for 90 minutes getting paid before returning to the yard... or customer... lol

 

But but but... I wanna stay!!!
I like the Color Green...
