What is the extra stop pay?
I haven’t had a multi stop load yet.

 

I have just been talking to another Abilene driver via cell phone. He is in "Heathsville, VA park at a BP nex to an Abilene Volvo truck# 19028 that both front streering wheel "Hub seals" we're missing!
He goes into the store and comes back out and someone took one of his!
I don't know what's really going on; but some low life thinks that's really funny!

 

If your local drivers use day cabs that could explain the 600 lbs.

 

Question for the drivers. Is trucking worth it despite the high risks? I keep reading one accident after another.

 

Most of the locals out of Richmond use day cabs, but out of Wytheville they use Macks with sleepers.

 

Rocknroller, I absolutely agree trucking IS WORTH IT. I love my job and the lifestyle that goes with it. You drive judiciously, and don't drive with a sense of priority or entitlement and you will live to drive another day. Promise you that.

 

I always put in for detention when that happens. Soon as I scale out and find out the load needs to be reworked.

Sometimes I even get it.

 

You get an extra $25 if your load has more than one pickup and/or delivery on it. The most extra stops I have ever had were 8. There is a regular BH multistop pickle run that has 10. That one has a regular driver that does it though, he even has his own set of keys for some of the BH facilities.
