I have. I even applied a month or so ago and tried forever.. like two weeks to get in touch with their recruiting department and she never returned my calls. Maybe once which I missed but she was never in. I live in the NW so I doubt they'd want someone that far away since it would be hard to get home.

That's what I was thinking. I might go Western Express just for the fact I wouldn't have to pull into a terminal and could just park outside home. I dunno man. Can't make up my mind. I know it doesn't really matter because I will do a year with whoever regardless.

My three options are May Trucking, Western Express or Schneider.

What about "Frey Miller". I seen them a lot on the Westside.

I plan to go with them if I end up moving to Texas but they won't take me because I am in the NW.

Bus ride to Springfield MO was 48 hours. Ugh! And to Shippensburg PA was 12. Then I had to take a bus down to Ellenwood GA to meet my trainer.

That’s cause JB gets all the freight that goes out there! Even in the winter when he really doesn’t want it! LOL

Crazy! No way would I do that. Western Express want to bus me to LA. 16 hour journey. Might just pay for the train tho since it would be more comfortable than Greyhound.

Ya, get on with anyone for a year, then more options might pop up... go with the one that best fits your needs... start driving and then you can keep looking for your next company. Talk to Drivers while OTR to gather first hand feedback, etc... then make a change after you get some Safe miles under your belt.

If you end up in Texas, Danny Herman runs most of the Southern States.

But, I assume, you only do that once... then once in the truck you won’t have to jockey around... when I came back here I just drove my car from South Florida to RVA... that way I have a car to jet around with when in town and can just roll South should they ever get tired of me... lol

You might have to take that bus/train ride to get in with a good company... unless you want 61 mph and micromanagement...

Consider it an investment in your career.
