I don’t know but to me that’s a corrupted sheriff!
Years back when I lived in Florida some county’s sheriff departments had a monthly obligation to fill or give so many tickets that it became a notable redicules pattern for in merit things in a way that governor Rick Scott had to step in and do away with such practice of monthly obligation of so many tickets given out.

 

Ya, sometimes it worth paying someone to help get it off your record. Especially on a CDL.

 

Like the “lane violation” I received in Louisiana... I was going to go to court to fight it as there were no maneuvers available to me that were legal or didn’t defy physics... but... they sent me a letter saying “based on your driving record you qualify for our extra special program... pay $240 and we won’t record this”... lol ... so they get there money cause it would cost me at least that much to fight it and if I hired a lawyer then that cost skyrockets...

So I paid it... time will tell if it shows up or not.

Welp, somewhere between Richmond and Florence, SC, one of the springs which holds up the air hoses under my current trailer broke. So the hoses have been dragging on the ground an unspecified length of time, but long enough for one of 'em to wear completely in half. So much for getting to the receiver early.

 

Yeah, thankfully it wasn't that. But it looks like the wheels have stopped rolling a time or two, because there are some flat rough patches on the front driver's side tires that weren't there when I pre-tripped this morning.
