Another one??? Geesh.

 

So... there was a little mix up on my Home Time for this weekend... partly due to me requesting this Friday, Saturday, Sunday off but using the dates for Saturday, Sunday, Monday... (oops... my bad... I own that part)... well, the second time I requested the time off... I guess somehow the first time the request just fell into the abyss...

So this discrepancy was caught and fixed on Monday when I began my gentle reminders about home time coming... firm home time as it’s a Family Graduation Weekend kind of thing.

But... I guess the Planners didn’t get the update... lol ... SMDH... so now I’m bobtailing it 600+ miles... very nice of them to do, but, since I’m not under load, Abilene isn’t making any money and Driver isn’t getting paid either... guess it will be a great extra day off... well, still driving, but it will feel like I’m off... right?

Yeah man I had hometime for today also,but I'm sitting 500 miles away doing a 2 stop bh run.

Wouldnt piss me off so much if they ran me more than a day from the yard but they don't,think I'm gonna start looking around.

 

Tell your friend, I’m still happy over here, and that alone speaks volumes, because I’m a miserable SOB.

 

I’m guessing it wasn’t his idea to leave.

 

I’ve been on the mty hunt this morning. Since 6:30. Waded through rush hour traffic to Stihl, but a dang OTR driver got there before I did and got the only one. Then back into the fray over to Canon. Thank goodness there was one there. Now just waiting to find out what interesting thing I’ll be doing today.

 

Got unlded at my 2nd bh stop,now sitting at the door at a chicken plant,gonna run that to Wilson and drop,will be home tomorrow .
