Didn’t you just get back from vacation???

 

Today I woke up and started my usual morning routine in order to get ready for driving. I notice that I had a miss call from Abilene, that was strange and when I listen to my voice message it went like this... “Javier this is Abilene dispatch my name is “Indio” please call me!
I just losted an crack up laughing!
Reason why.... in the Spanish language “Indio” means “Indian”!
I thought someone was playing a joke on me and I was very tempted on calling back with a “John Wayne” voice to say... “This is cowboy... my horse is saddled up and I’m ready to go” but I didn’t.
I spoke to Steve in Wytheville, VA terminal and as it turns out Richmond, VA has a new person called “Indio / Indian”
Ooops!

 

I love doing a PrePlan... seeing that there is plenty of gravel parking lot at the customers address ... only to arrive and discover a simple yet very thin, when viewed from a satellite, chain link fence completely surrounding said gravel parking lot... lol ... so at the moment, I’m parked in their “customer parking lot”... I’m sure someone will be knocking on my door come Morning... but it’s a 7:30am LUL so it should work out... {shrug}

 

I would love to visit there some day.

 

Maybe JohnBoy has one of those old-timey steamer trunks and you can stow away like Harpo Marx.

 

Spoke to my wife today and she didn’t want me to worry but a tornado hit our town the very day after I started out again OTR. Many houses and businesses were destroyed.

 

Heard there were several tornadoes across a large part of the US recently... hope your family is safe.
