Got to Colton a whole day early... ran a local load this morning... 6-7 hours driving/unloading... now taking a 10 so I can roll out at 11pm (2am eastern) with a load to swap with a team. Thinking my schedule is going to be F’d up for a few days...

But it was a BEAUTIFUL drive out here!!!

The surge with IBC’s is nothing like the real thing.

 

If they send you to Nogales, Az to pickup a load. Don't plan on a parking at the Pilot on I-19 exit 12. It's always full and even using the scale will be a mayor pain!

 

Dropped my load of vidalia onions in sauce off at BH in groveport yesterday and get a call from DM saying they got a load coming out going to Washington due Monday morning asking if I could do it and wanted it. Yeah I can do it and want it, lol! Get here 5 am today to hook and roll and get told it is on hold due to waiting for more product to get here. Supposed to call me when ready....Looking like it won’t there til Tuesday morning if not ready soon....

 

Never fails, always get a trailer with something needing fixed when I pull a load out of BH Groveport, lol! At least they didn’t take it off me since I got stuck waiting all day for it since wasn’t ready at 5 am like was supposed to be. Told them I prob won’t get to Washington til Tuesday since I lost an entire days driving waiting since I started my clock real early.

 

Spent almost four hours in a Love's shop today having a tire replaced, which was the quick thing, and almost all the wiring on the right side of my trailer from the back to the middle marker light replaced since whoever worked on it last used a crapload of butt connectors instead of using one long piece of wire. Wiring was broken in several places and getting hot and burned up. Maybe that is why whoever dropped it at Groveport decided to leave it for the next driver to fix....At least Ill pass inspection now if pulled in.
