Heading to SLC then up to Calgary. Stopped at the rest area here in Hurricane, WV for the night.

Hey JB, when you went to Canada when you had to drop your trainee where did you cross? I have to cross at Sweet Grass, MT. If that is where you crossed what is the cost going in and out. What was your backhaul?

I crossed in Washington state. I went to Vancouver and left him at a motel at the border. It cost nothing going in and $10.50 coming out for the US. They deadheaded me down to Oregon to load going down to Los Angeles. I'm pretty sure it's going to cost the same for you coming back. Do you have a Sabra load?

No. LTL. Some med records going to SLC and wall racks from PDI going up to Calgary so I have a box.

Just got to the Petro in Reno. My trainee did an excellent job with his first nit driving experience. Pulled in and JB has a spot right next to him open so of course 2 Abilene trucks are better than one.

If you are delivering it South Jordan Utah the place is easy to find. It looks like a college campus. The place is on the east side of redwood rd. The truck entrance is on the side street that's on the north end of the place. Real easy drop. A little tricky to get lined up, but a real easy drop. Those racks from PDI are what I've delivered to British Columbia, Colorado Springs and Reno.

I was telling my trainee that I spent all winter out in Wyoming, shut down every trip out here and couldn't buy a load out here this summer. It was refreshing to see a little green shrubbery this trip instead of electric signs saying road closed ahead.

Glad you finally made it. I thought I was going to need to turn around and drag you across Wyoming.
