I had a tire replaced on truck and trailer the other day. Tractor tire had 4 nails. Trailer one. I’m a magnet for nails.

I walk during my downtime. Walk along any busy roadway and the sides are littered with nails and metal, just like the interstate shoulders.

    "Giant eagle warehouse"
Don't they punish you for being late?
The famous frase "Will work you in" and you become the last of the last.
I don't know? Are they ok?

    Can’t...
    459 goes NE/SW...
    I’m going NW/SE...

No biggie... just gotta allow more time on that route... but they really need to work on their Detour Signage.... or I need new glasses.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

Oops, I thought it was a drop, not a LUL. Can't remember the last Gatorade load I had that wasn't a drop.

I have been considering laser vision operation but I read good and bad reviews. I'm tired of my glasses but scare of the operation.
    Has anyone been through it?

I used to work for an Ophthalmologist... he specialized in cataract surgery... which is super simple and safe... and dealing with the alternative of total loss of eye sight not just improved eyesight... he never wanted to get involved with the laser surgery as he didn’t think there were enough years experience with how the eyes will age after such surgeries...

But he was older and ready to retire so he might not be the best source of information... and that was several years ago too... dang, maybe twenty... lol ... so ya, there is newer data out for sure... lol

I’ve thought about it... but glasses work for me, but they are getting to be a hassle now that my older eyes would prefer bifocals... lol

My ex-wife had it done, and is generally very positive about it and has been quite happy with the results, except for one thing: It really reduced her night vision.

This is (or was at the time, dunno if it's changed) one of the side effects of laser eye surgery, and they warned her that it would happen. She does NOT like driving at night since the surgery, because she can't see anything that isn't lit up. And even lighted areas are dim.
