Long dragging butt day. Fiancé had to have emergency surgery to remove a tumor on her brain last night. She wasn't coherent enough for docs to explain basics to her and to decide on her own so docs came to me since Im her power of attorney and I decided it was best to do it. I knew it was coming to this so wasn't a total surprise but I was up all night and drove all day day today, why I wanted to keep my Tx load instead of dropping in WM so I had a little breather and not have to drive balls to the wall with this Byhalia to Elkridge but I did make good time and only got 486 miles to drop it tomorrow since I wanted to avoid Monday morning DC rush hour. Good news is they were able to remove 80% of it so that will help her body tremendously with the other tumors. Chemo and radiation should hopefully finally get rid of the cancer completely. She didn't go into full remission as we thought few months ago. Also good they only had to shave under her top layer of hair so she won't be too self conscious about that and ppl staring. It really bothers her with ppl always staring at her. Some ppl just don't understand I guess. I should be able to get some sleep tonight since don't gotta really haul ### tomorrow and get up at stupid o'clock. I imagine they will deadhead me to RVA like they normally do when I drop in Elkridge and load me out of there.

Saw something rather odd today... stopped to stretch my legs and saw another green Abilene truck... but it was a WesternStar... same colors and logos... so it looked like a company truck... didn’t have the “Operated by” signs... full company design... but a WesternStar? I thought those were all O/O trucks... I looked closer and yup, it was an 18xx series... so it’s numbered as a company truck too.
Anyone know about these?Silverdriver and Lonesome Thank this. -
