Well, I know this much. My X-15 in my Peterbilt will outpull the gutless Mack I had, especially dragging pups with it, AND it gets better fuel mileage.

81 was horrible today traffic wise. Never saw so many ppl afraid of rain before. Traffic was literally stopped and backed up in a few places due to ppl pretty much stopping when it started raining sort of hard. Made it to Elkridge and only empty reefers, so deadhead move to Petersburg to drop this reefer but gotta take a ten first here since I burned most my hours stuck in traffic today.
MACK E-6, MidWest_MacDaddy and Silverdriver Thank this. -
Today, for only the 2nd time in 8 months, I have been allowed to leave the Tidewater/RVA area and venture into the lands of NC. Yea! Got to stop at my favorite BBQ joint and get some of the BESTEST eastern NC style BBQ there is. Bringing 3 pounds of this yummy goodness home. Haven’t had any since I went local! It really is all about the food! LOLMidWest_MacDaddy, Finfn1372, Silverdriver and 5 others Thank this. -
Got sent to Saddlecreek Brother to pick up a load to Amazon in Gouldsboro, PA after dropping my reefer at BH in Petersburg. Get the paperwork and it says can't deliver after the 8th and got to have an appt 24 hours in advance.....my supposed appt is tomorrow at 8 am. This oughta be interesting....betting they told me to get it and hope it gets accepted and unloaded tomorrow.....

You may recall a month or so ago when I drove a loaner for three weeks because my truck was at the KW dealership around the corner getting the head gasket replaced.
The reason it was getting the head gasket replaced (according to the shop) was because I had to refill the coolant reservoir every week or two. Replacing the head gasket was supposed to stop that from happening.
Turns out it didn't fix the problem. I still had to refill the coolant every week or two. So this past Thursday I put in a shop ticket prior to going home for a weekend of hometime.
Got back today and discovered that my truck is once again back at the dealership around the corner. This time they have to break the engine down completely and rebuild it, because it's leaking coolant from the same spot it was before. And this time, they're not giving me a loaner. Today was moving day.
Brand new 2020 KW, 1096 miles on it. 99% identical to my old one.
But it turns out there was one key difference:
That blank placeholder where a rocker switch is supposed to be?
That's the switch for dumping the air bags. Or, at least, that's where the switch would be if my brand new 2020 KW had such a switch. Which it doesn't.
Apparently this was not an intended feature of the new 2020 KWs, so I get to drop the truck by the dealership around the corner at some future point after they order the required part.
Still, everybody who has looked at it has had more-or-less the same reaction I had when I first noticed it.MidWest_MacDaddy, Vic Firth, jarhead0311 and 1 other person Thank this. -
