I started home time yesterday. No moving anything for me this time! Just moving the dinner fork gaining some good pounds from my wife home cooking. Speaking of children; my only two still live with me, they are in there 30+ ... They are really good but I wish they would get married! LOL! Me and the wife will like to see some grandchildren.

Note: If you are coming to the West Memphis yard from the west, there's no good way to get here. Burned up an extra 16 minutes of clock trying to get to the yard from EB exit 280.

 

That’s been a mess for awhile now... I had a hard time making a left to get onto MLK last time I was in WM... and getting to one of the TS, you had to go around the block to get there... will be nice once complete... well, we hope it is...

So.....current situation.....I am at receiver and am a work in (translation, you’re gonna be here for a loonnngggg time). Been here almost 4 hours now. It’s all good, cause, you know, I’m local. Get a call from dispatch wanting me to call this broker and tell them I’ll be on time for a 1 pm pick up (mind you, I’m not even in a door yet and it’s 11:30 am, have a full load and am a work in since they missed the Friday delivery appointment. Ummm, no. Not my job to call this broker and lie about being able to get there. That’s what dispatch gets paid to do. I get paid to drive this truck from point A to point B and pick up/deliver freight. What in the world are they thinking?

Update: got another msg to not worry about it. They “got it figured out”. Well, thank goodness. I can rest easy now. Bwahhhhhhh!!!!!!! Sarcasm, yeessss!
