Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

That’s the way it was done at USX when I was there. We could run super solo after the first week if necessary. The team driving part was supposed to come in once we were assigned a truck. Then we were to team with another newbie for (I think) two months. After that we could go solo. I never had a co-driver. They couldn’t find someone near my area to team me with. I didn’t mind because the one girl they did put me with ripped a trl door off and didn’t even know it the day she got on the truck with me. Took her right back to the terminal!

 

Ya, leave it to the Drivers that would rather sit in the CoPilot seat and watch someone else drive all day... oh what fun that would be... lol

 

Just saw another Abilene Truck... a team, I assume it’s husband and wife... they had three chihuahuas in the truck with them... THREE... and that’s the ones I could see... lol

Long frustrating day driving through Ga....two semi's decided to rollover in two different places.....

Oh and, new security gates being installed at RVA... The same as the other two Yards... both gates sliding from each side... get out to input a code both coming and going... fun.
