Yeah if only for a day,were making progress.

 

Brokered load of giant bags of filtration minerals from Quincy WA to Statesville NC. That place was dirt and had to wait for dust to settle before backing into dock, lol! They always send me straight back to the east coast after I come off hometime.....

 

I got a load assignment today at 9:40 to pick up a load of frozen chicken from Far Best and take it to the Boar's Head in Forrest City. The note at the bottom of the load assignment said "CANNOT BE LATE!!"

If I had been fully loaded at the time and able to immediately hit the road and drive non-stop as soon as I got the load assignment, I might have made it on time. As long as I didn't have to pee.

As it was, however, I was still bumped to a dock in Belvidere for my previous load and wound up getting 2.5 hours of detention there. I didn't leave the receiver until after 1:30pm.

And then I had to get the trailer washed out because this place requires the trailers to be washed out before loading.

I kept in touch with HQ the whole day. It's a BH load, and it says "CANNOT BE LATE!!" on it. And I know how important it is to keep BH happy. So I wanted to make sure HQ had every opportunity to give it to someone else who could get it there on time, or at least have someone else rescue the load and get it there on time. I made regular updates. I let 'em know when I was finally done with the receiver. I let 'em know when I was done getting the trailer washed out. I let 'em know my ETA for reaching the shippper.

Eventually I got a call from HQ instructing me to get it there as soon as I could. Apparently there were no other options to rescue the load. So this BH load which CANNOT BE LATE!! will, in fact, be around 5-6 hours late.

 

Hey CN is back! Since Monday....
I thought that the Qualcomm message said until the 8th.
Maybe I need new glasses!

I looked on there website .39 CPM to start isn't that low compared to other places.
