Just got off the phone with the recruiter from Richmond ,Va. they are offering 40cpm / home weekends or try their best to get me home weekends and there is no sign in bonus. With bonuses I’m looking at 43cpm, minimum mileage a week can be 2500. It’s up in the air about joining them I’m also talking to Marten out of Richmond they are offering refer position with better pay 46-53 cpm no sign on bonus either Atlantic regional home every other weekend. Does Abilene offer per diem ? For those that get home on weekends do you make it home on time and if you don’t do you just have a Monday/Tuesday off to make up for your days off or do you do recap hours . I really don’t care I told them I would run a 6/2-7/2 schedule if that possible burn my 70 be home for a 34hr reset

Moved into brand new volvo today since my 2018 kept derating on me everyday. Storage sure got skimped on with these 760's but at least I shouldn't breakdown everyday now.

Per diem is they convert 11 CPM from income to expense reimbursement... so you are actually making 29 CPM with an 11 CPM per diem.

Home time, for me, has been a bit hit and miss for me lately... or being ready to come back out and miss half a day of driving so that hurts. Sure, an extra half day off... but you are just sitting in the truck waiting to roll.

Not sure about that “home weekends” part either... unless you are running NE Regional... and then it’s only for a 34 hour reset... OTR is out 12 days and off 2...

Bit sour here today... so that might not have come off with my normal cheery attitude.

And what’s this about new ELD being rolled out by DM Board? Another software update or new hardware?

I saw the interior of one of those 760s... I am so not impressed... told CN I would gladly stay in used 860s driven by trainers before “willingly” moving into one of those.

Again, not impressed with that change.

Picked up a load from BH Groveport. Reefer was in alarm condition when I got there. Cleared the alarm, went about my business, alarm came back. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Here now at the TA in Hurricane waiting for them to take a look at it. Given the repair ETA I have been quoted, someone else will be delivering this load. Shame, too, as it's a multi-stop load, with two stops at the same physical address. I was looking forward to getting an extra $25 for not moving the truck a millimeter.

I was with you on the used 860 thing but I had too many mechanical issues with my 18 volvo and was getting frustrated. Especially after spending 3 days of my home-time in the volvo dealer. Fortunately there is a huge storage compartment under the bunk when you open it and I put the top bunk down and hung the safety net and use it for storing a few things. I do miss the table and benches though more than anything. At least these mattresses are comfy though too. New qualcomm immediately goes to drive too, got used to being able to drive around yard off duty and not tripping it, messed up my break, lol!

Once you move the truck it put's you on the driveline, from my understanding.

Even if you say were to leave a customer doing off duty driving to find somewhere to park, the time it take's you to get there you'll still have to take a 10hr break.,it won't take away that time anymore.
