Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Just found out the blower motor went out.

 

Got an email from Abilene,..."Abilene mandatory open enrollment".
Mandatory.
Is my memory really going bad! Or is this the first time that I'm seeing... "Mandatory"?

 

Thats the new knight way,get used to it .

 

Day 2 of vampire driving finally done, glad this one was drop and hook. Glad next load a day one, lol!

 

The deadhead is still alive 640 miles,West Palm Beach to Clinton,Sc.

 

That knight has been here making changes since day one. That I know!
I drove for them many years ago and had two friends that where trainers many years for them. But making the health insurance enrollment mandatory is something that will put a financial pressure on many drivers that can’t afford the cost! About how much will it cost monthly a driver with a family of 5 the insurance; And having to deal with all the personal home expenses?

My dm went on vacation this week,so I had the 'Replacement's'.
From Sat to this morning 4160 miles not bad,might have to hollar at my dm.

Waiting on the yard to see what there gonna do for a load home.

 

Watched a Landstar owner op with one of those sleeper box trucks fixing the holes in the roof of his box with duct tape.....lol!
