You have to call safety,I just found out about it yesterday .

Its called a yard move,it shows up under on duty.
I I haven't used it yet but I assume that when you get somewhere on somebody's yard you go on you use it and I'll put you on duty and it'll still eat off your clock but it won't eat off your drive time is what I was told.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

Correct. Call into safety. It can only be added manually. Once used, it will start your 14. Me personally? I just go on PC, that won’t start anything.

Got to the Love's in Sidney NE around 1530 with 15 min left on my clock, day started at 3am today, and the lot was darn near full.....never this full this early in the day. Guess ppl are afraid of the wind, I know not everybody here is light weight..... I made it across Wy just fine with 40,411 lbs in my box. But one should stop though if you don't feel safe though and if your company tells you to. But I think some use it as an excuse at times to be lazy. Same goes in winter when places are so crowded you can't get fuel because ppl are scared to death of putting chains on and still complain about not getting miles.....not making fun of ppl though and sorry if that offended anyone. Stopped at wamsutter Love's for fuel and that place was a total cluster and a half. Stuck there for 45 min.... dumb knucklehead parked in the fuel island and got a shower then came out and got fuel then parked in front of the fuel island again......

The Nestlé load was a dry load. But it was loaded in a reefer, so perhaps the curse is contagious.

It seems that more drivers are getting into the same bad habit.
There was one driver next to me that she fuel her truck went into the store to purchase... came back to take out her dog for a walk... and then return to play with her tablet; All while parked at the fuel station! There was plenty of parking all around!

The last time I stopped for fuel, I was in line while both I and the guy at the pumps waited for the guy that pulled ahead to return to his truck and leave... no big deal but when I got to the pumps, I was sitting in my truck entering data into the Loves App to start the pump... it failed like once and I started over... not unusual at times.

Then a guy comes to my drivers side and I roll down my window... he says something like “are you fueling or done?”

    I reply “fueling”

To which he replied “fueling? Or done fueling?”

    I repeated “fueling”

he looked a bit irritated and said something like “fueling? Then why are you in your truck on your phone?”

While this did irritated me a bit as it wasn’t all that long since I actually pulled up to the pump in the first place, never left the truck etc... I said “I’m on my phone using their app to start the pump so I can fuel.”

    Him: “oh” and walked away.

He must have found another pump since the guy that pulled up after I fueled and moved wasn’t the same guy.
