Hmmmm, maybe it’s because I have the old Qualcomm? No biggie. I get paid by the hour, so.....
jarhead0311 Thanks this. -
So a “yard move” is on duty...
seeing an increase in PC in my future -
MidWest_MacDaddy, Lonesome, jarhead0311 and 3 others Thank this.

Well, well, well...
Guess who just discovered that his Truck has been “upgraded” to said new system. Went off duty for a break only to discover that my truck was now switching to Driving automatically with a simple yard maneuver...
Great!!! Lost like 20 minutes of my break just because I hooked a king pin some 50 feet away.
This is going to be a total PITA!!!MACK E-6, jarhead0311 and Lonesome Thank this. -
so, instead of a simple Yard Maneuver to the Street... and back to bed... I just F’d up my 10 in the 7th hour and either drove my Truck without having any clocks to legally do so or started a brand new 10 hour required break? Or both???
Thinking this is just getting well beyond stupid!!!
Would PC be illegal in my example? They unloaded me... I’m empty... no longer under a load... although Safety did chew my backside once for using PC while under an empty trailer... was told I could only use PC when bobtailed.
but maybe that changed too...
when PC dropped to only 30 minutes -
And I’m sure an increase in CPM will be coming our way when we start to see decreased production due to decreased drivable time... more detention fees when we have to take a 17 hour break instead of a 10 because we dared move a truck???
LOL ... I know, I know... silly thinking. -
Wayne, it all depends how far you want to push it. Any movement of that truck while on a 10 other than PC, is work. 17 hour breaks will happen quite a bit. But, if you don’t change anything like before, you’ll get use to it. Just remember that the minute the truck moved, it will switch you.
