Deadhead to Salem Oregon to pick up going to Henderson NV. 191 miles to Salem from Fife and they are only paying me 99 miles and ran my 14 out due to that fiasco with costco refusing stuff.....wth.....Going to Kroger and have 1630 Appt time, guaranteed Ill be there til midnight....at least the shipper is letting me stay on property tonight.

Had issues finding an empty at RVA, again. I guess after “yard check” there was only one empty on the yard... and someone grabbed it off the dock before me... PLENTY of full trailers so frieght certainly is NOT an issue.

Was told that we are adding parking and designating an “empty trailer” parking area.

and as I was leaving the yard, they do have that whole left side tore up and adding paving to that whole area... so maybe the “empties go here” will return soon!!!

it will probably be empty but we should have a spot... lol

Well, guess I need to not try to read without my contacts in, lol! The deadhead miles are 199 paid. I must have went a shorter route after loaded than they are paying since miles Im driving are shorter so Im not losing anything and actually winning out on this trip. Went I-5 to Or-58 to US97 to Or-39 into CA-139 to CA-299 to US395 toI-80 to US95 to I-15 from Salem to Henderson NV. Was a brisk 8 degrees going over Willamette pass this morning, was nice this time on bare pavement since last time was during a snowstorm and had to chain up because I read the road condition report wrong.
