I just had a lumper straight up ask me for a tip. That's a new one.

 

I told him "Driver carries no cash."

 

Those last three comments started my day off with a chuckle... thanks guys!!! LOL

Well my bh load 0130 appt load is being swapped because they were afraid I wasn't going to make it, at least other driver is being nice about it. GPS sent me down 71/75 from Groveport to Sanford FL and from Chattanooga down was slow going with all the accidents and Atlanta traffic. Getting up at 0145 in KY this morning didn't help like I hoped it would.....I prob would have made it doing a split and I explained that but guess they didn't want to chance it so they set up a swap. I do feel bad though....

 

I had the two mexicans unloading me in Laredo once try asking for money to unload me faster. I couldn't understand them, they tried translating through a smartphone but the english translation didn't come out right but I figured it out eventually.

 

I was in Brooklyn once loading those cheap Halloween costumes, the dude loading asks for a 6 pack ( 1 beer each) and 7-up because one guy didn’t like beer. We walked down to the store I bought it. There were 10 trucks in line ahead of me with 2 doors and being hand stacked. They made 1 truck pull out of the door I bypassed all the other trucks, was loaded in a hour and 15 minutes, got out of NYC before Friday afternoon rush hour. The best $6 I spent in my life.

 

Is something new happening in Planning lately?

This week, and maybe last week, my TOs seem to be a bit, well, jumbled... starting me after only 5 hours on my 10 but on a load that doesn’t drop for a long time... doesn’t add up... not that I expect to be planned to the minute... just a different feel to them...

and today I have a BH Load but no TMC

just feels different.

 

I see these new Reefers have been upgraded to the smaller fuel tanks too...
