Get to HP in San Bernardino and my appt is at 10am....didn't get out til 1300 because apparently they lost or misplaced a pallet of stuff and couldn't find it.....at least all the lights work on my trailer but need a couple tires replaced though due to flat spots. I do wonder if most drivers just hook and go and just play dumb if stopped for inspection....

In the past years I have pulled many “High value “ loads and always with the shippers has been the ordinary procedure that we all know... You must travel 200 miles before stopping... etc, etc. No phone calls unless is an emergency.
    But! Things are changing!
Some shippers are having a new company called “Sensiguard” do all the monitoring of the loads! This new company is a 24/7 deal.
I pulled a load out of Ontario, California going to Oklahoma and this people want you to call them before leaving the shipper or if for any reason you have to stop the truck before reaching your destination!
If you’re going to stop and fuel you must call them! Taking a 30 minute break you must call them! Going to the bathroom and you stop the truck! You must call them! I’m not exaggerating! Even when your going to bed! :eek:And after EACH stop before starting You Must Call THEM!
Now here is another thing with them... if you don’t call them “They Will Call You! And ask you what’s going on!o_O

I hauled several of those kind of loads when I worked for Abilene. Nothing new really.

We have more than our share of linehaul idiots who do that, and leave flat tires and non-working lights for the next driver.

“I’m not paid to do all that”.

Anyone know firsthand if that Interstate warehouse in Indy is actually open on a Sunday? The Office seems confident I can unload a day early but I can't get anyone in Indy on the phone to confirm this.

Then some paranoid idiot will just call the truck stop for one of those “wellness checks”.

I called them when I stopped for my ten. Then called again before I started rolling. Not that big of a deal really.
