Little bit of night driving in LA area tonight with 2215 appt in Industry to unload these used batteries. Unloading me early which I didn't expect. Going to Waterloo IA next, GPS has me going up 15 and across 70 to 76 to 80.....Ill be monitoring chain laws and weather in CO to see if going around is better. Ran over some poor trucker's Stetson that blew off his head out his window going down I5 today. Windy today....

Had an interesting issue yesterday... I discovered mid trip that I could not adjust my tandems as the trailer tires would not lock up to slide the trailer... (does that also mean I had no brakes?)... DM talked with someone in WM and told me to adjust the brakes by applying breaks and releasing them like 7 times... that didn’t work... I was only a couple hours to RVA so I took it into the shop here... adjusted and let me go... I parked... thought “maybe I need to check”... Nope, still won’t lock up/slide.
back to shop... adjusted again... now it works.
just never hit that issue before... unless one actually attempts to slide the trailer... how would one know? (Note: I didn’t do a tug test that AM as I visually verified the King Pin secured when I pretripped the HPL trailer) -
Also, is it just me or do these new painted lines on our new paved parking lot feel a bit tighter??? Parked this trailer twice and it just feels very tight... glad I had an open spot next to my target... but ya, feels different.
I’m hoping they didn’t trim off a few inches on every parking spot just to add an additional spot or two...Last edited: Nov 21, 2019
