Funny how that happens. The most important party always seems to be left out of the loop.

I swear I still don’t get just how this #### PC is working... today my 34 got screwed up because I drove on PC past 30 minutes!!!

taking a 34 in Columbus, I met friends at the casino so this morning I run from Groveport to the Loves south of town... and then hit that Walmart with great parking for Big Trucks on the way back towards the casino.

hopped back in the truck after Walmart and selected PC and drove... only to have it click into Driving instead of staying in PC.

luckily I have some hours coming around so I won’t feel the impact for like 4 days.

I just don’t get what I’m doing differently from others here. On my way home to South Florida the last time it allowed me to drive PC well beyond the 30 and get home in time for my cruise...

What the heck am I doing differently???

Prob a software issue and not you the driver doing anything wrong or different. My qualcomm reverted back a couple times too. Gotta love how everything is computerized and Digital these days. Im old fashioned and still prefer pencil and paper and what not in spite of things supposed to be easier digital wise. Gotta be a software engineer darn near too as well as being a mechanic with these new trucks.

Snowing pretty good here near lake Huron in MI where Im loading. On way here the springs broke on this old rusted out trailer that hold the air lines and wires up in front of the tandems. Thankfully I carry zip ties to temporary fix that issue to get to a shop. Light load unfortunately of those tall metal ladder/stairs you see at shops.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

Used common sense and my atlas to find this place since I didn't trust my gps routing, lol!

My GPS works pretty well. For example, the delivery address on my current load assignment is wrong. (It's wrong on the original BOL too, so not Abilene's fault.). And when I typed that incorrect address in to my GPS, it took me right to it.

Gotta love wrong addresses, lol! Like pulling teeth to try and get the correct one at times. Also love when I get the mailing address or office address and not truck entrance. That is why Im so thankful for google earth, lol! I had to search street by street once on google earth to find a place.

Didn't make it as far as I hoped today due to rusted out trailer breaking....Had to wait for another mechanic to get in at the Loves I stopped at to get fixed because the one there was going out to change a tire and 14 started counting down while in the shop. Mech had to make a new place to hang the new spring to hold the lines up under my trailer since it was so rusted up, lol! Ill get by Chicago faster at 3am anyway.

Most annoying thing for me about getting the wrong address is that you often wind up in a tight spot trying to find your way back out to the correct address.

Totally agree!!! The last time I came out I hit three ... THREE ... address issues... in less than two weeks on the road... one was a broker issue, no surprise there... but the other two were simple office address vs shipping address... I looked both up on the satellite view and sure looked as if I could get in without issue.

First place I drove up to I ended up having to back out blind sided around a corner at night in the rain... thankfully two guards spotted for me and said I wasn’t the only truck to show up at the front door instead of on the back side of the property.

Second place I stroll up to the address, again, looked good from above... only to be told “there was a sign there saying No Trucks”... sign was covered in snow that day... but again, the Truck Entrance was on a completely different street... I ended up again slowly backing up blindsided onto a busy street hoping anyone coming would see me and avoid me.

I think this issue is a Safety Issue!!!

Funny thing is... the Companies don’t want us there... we don’t want to be there... how is this what seems to be simple and obvious detail getting dropped between the two???
