So seriously, celadon drivers would need a ride back to their home base? What do they do just abandon the trucks out in the field?

sounds like that would be harder on the company than finding loads to get both driver and truck back to some mutually acceptable place.

    am I missing something?

    is celadon out of Indy?
Is that why RG is offering rides?

Fuel cards have been turned off. If you can’t put fuel in the truck you aren’t going anywhere.

This usually happens when a company goes under. Arrow, Falcon, years ago Murphy Motor Freight, no fuel to get anywhere.

Sorry to hear about the Celedon drivers. Piss on the company. Let’s just hope Abilene is able to get some of the freight that’s now available.

Over the years I’ve seen companies suddenly shutter their doors and leave drivers “stranded”, not happening to me, I have always carried an emergency credit card, so if something similar ever happened to me, or I needed to fly home from anywhere in the country for an emergency I could do it.

    So how does that work?

DAC first and ask questions later?
