    Thank you.:)
I’m very glad also. The good Lord had mercy on that young man. I ask him twice if he was ok and he said yes. Even when I look at him after the accident he still look tired and sleepy.

Wow, Im glad nobody was injured. With how everything is plastic these days I can imagine his front was crushed in pretty good hitting a solid metal DOT bumper on a trailer.

Ya, before returning to Abilene, I applied at a local place... was a bit surprised myself... ya, petty... petty is a good word.

@JohnBoy or any of our Abilene drivers...
I want to ask a question and I don’t mean to be sarcastic but I’m really questioning my self about this and don’t remember. (I’m getting old... LOL).
Today I spoke with my DM as to my vacation time that I have left; and he said to me... “No vacation time can be rolled into the new year “

If I understood correctly he said that this was a new Abilene policy! Now my DM is still fairly new to Abilene so I had my doubts and called Richmond but could not reach Rachel.
    My question...
Since when was this policy effective?
I don’t remember getting any type of message or information about this; again I truly don’t remember and I’m not trying to be sarcastic ... I’m going to trash my memory pills! LOL!

    Help!

Hmmmm....haven’t heard that one either. Would be kind of difficult for me to use 2 weeks of vacation in 3 months. It has been policy that your vacation time is from your anniversary date to your anniversary date. If it changed, I’m not aware.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

Well, from the looks of how that bumper’s rusting out from the inside it needs to be replaced anyway. ;)

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

I was told the same thing,I had to use it by end of the year, why this is I don't know.

But Rachel did tell me you can split it up,and if you want to get paid for a week and still work you can do that to.

News to me. I always thought it started or expired on your anniversary date. When my wife and I went to Italy for 3 weeks in April, I planned our vacation taking my last week owed from last year, then my 2 weeks for this year. I got paid for 3 weeks.

    Lonesome and Silverdriver Thank this.
