Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Glad to get rid of that HV load so I no longer gotta call every time I stop and start. Got sent to Orville from Grove City for a load of Miracle Gro going to Lowe's in Mechanicsville VA then they oughta be sending me back out west for my home time in WA next week. Took Abilene an hour to get me a pickup number since they didn't put it in the load info then it took two hours to get loaded and had to pc out due to being over my 14. Asked for a week to get to WA in case of snow and ice and shutdowns in Wyoming. I worry about Wyoming more than anywhere else. Don't want to miss my doc appt at the VA clinic. Maybe hopefully slide through the body shop so the damage from getting hit last month gets fixed.

 

Don’t count on it. You’d have to swap trucks for that to be done. You should know they don’t work like that by now. But do go down there and get your new IFTA stickers put on.

Accidentally emptied my separator too much this morning during pti and my engine stalled right in the middle of the on ramp to I-71 this morning. Couldn't do it in the Love's parking lot....some foreign knucklehead got behind me and laid on his airhorn like I purposely parked on the ramp....had to prime it to get it to start. Got me dropping in the yard now instead of unloading at Lowe's in Mechanicsville. Creates work for local I guess.

 

Hauling Mack truck parts from Volvo Byhalia to Volvo Jax. I am here in Jasper, AL. Fueled up at the Love's; had a shrimp egg and cheese sandwich for "breakfast"; and I have a full pot of freshly brewed coffee. It is a gorgeous freakin' day, with 70F temps and clear, bright blue skies from horizon to horizon. Great day to be a trucker, ladies and gentlemen. Hope y'all are having a great day too.
