Surely is. I really wanna thank u guys for passin on alot of info. Jb Its been so awesome reading these threads man. I almost felt like I was in the passenger seat for a moment LOL. I've been out of work for almost a week already and dying to back out on the road. Drove for a Mega for 16 Mos straight got my CDL thru their academy. I really wanted to get a local gig but no one in my neck of the woods is interested in me. So I might have to get back out there again. Abilene seems like they recognize productivity and efficiency in a driver. Something that my last company didn't. So I'm gonna go ahead and put my app in call one of the recruiters u mentioned in the last couple of threads. Thx & Be Safe...

First off, congratulations on the new addition. I and probably everyone else that reads this will keep the little one in our thoughts and prayers. Call into the office on Monday and speak with Sally or Sean and tell them what is going on. They will work with you. Do the right thing and it won't become an issue later on down the road. In the real world you bring the truck back to where you picked it up, or if worked out, to the nearest terminal. I can't say for sure, but West Memphis sounds right.

Yeah JB, no preplan though. Guess it will be a surprise on Monday. Went back to the truck early this afternoon to get some dirty dishes I forgot (yeah right too darn tired) and my laptop charger. Still no preplan, of course new driver manager who is on this week. Deuces. My best to Lesli, Honey and Cocoa!!

Ok I thought I remember someone say I could park at the Edison BH. Just got here to Wytheville and waiting on my trailer. Have a 0600 Mon in Edison and then 1000 in Brooklyn.

Ok, here's a quick synopsis of the 3 makes of trucks I've been in here at Abilene, the Volvo 780 has the most room and is truly more functional as a team truck. The Freightliner Cascadia might have 2 beds, but isn't worth a dime when it comes to teaming. The KW T680 is the most comfortable riding truck I've driven. My one and only complaint so far is the refrigerator, it's gotten smaller and smaller, right now one of those 12 volt coolers holds more. And because of the opening for the CB I sold my General Lee to a driver of ours and will buy one that fits in the opening, a Cobra 29.

The only other comparison that will happen shortly is to see the handling in snow and Ice. I have to give props to the Cascadia over the 780, only because I was fighting snow and ice all last winter out west. Shortly I'll find out about the KW in snow and ice.

Yes the T680 has a few design glitches , KW went from not to bad to a lot worse on the FRIDGE size and CB opening , have 3 drivers not too happy on the same thing's
