Getting my truck it’s overdue service here in West Memphis, then heading to Antioch California for Monday morning with my coolers. Been to this drop a few times over the years. Nice easy delivery. The only problem is the signs when you get off the exit that say no trucks, right before the police station. I stopped the first time going there at 6am and flagged down a cop. He told me the only trucks allowed down that street are the ones going to the delivery I have.

So they can make money! LoL! Had that happen in Los Angeles coming out of the recycling place I picked up at once. Decided to go the opposite way I came in because the turns were easier but ran into a no trucks sign after I made a right turn.....fortunately I was able to go around a block to get back where I was to go left back out way came into the recycling place. Had to block entire street at an angle and swing out into all the lanes to get around a telephone pole to get back onto the main street to the interstate. Pissed a few ppl off and one still tried to cut between me and the pole, guess she felt she was more important.

    Conversation with my DM, abbreviated:

Me: "Yeah boss, that delivery appointment is gonna be impossible to make with that pickup time. Did he give me a team run by mistake?"

DM: "Sure looks like it. Let me get back to you."
*five minutes later* "He said he doesn't see why you can't make that."

Me: "He can't see why I can't do 1000 miles in just over a day's drive time?"

    DM: "Yes."

    Me: o_O

Driving up CA 41 which is two lanes mostly til Fresno and a woman goes speeding around me when clear and throws up the middle finger and holds it there for quite a bit to make sure I saw it. The limit is 55, sorry I was only doing 60 lady and protecting my license, lol! If you hate trucks then don't buy anything or better yet, lobby your state legislature ppl and get rid of truck specific limits.

Better yet, lobby your elected officials to outlaw trucks on California roads.

Let me guess. That’s somebody that’s never seen the inside of a truck before.
