Dropped in Reno then picked up a load of doggy food to Redlands then hp in santa fe springs to SLC but due to my hours had to drop it in Colton. Get a phone call asking if I can take a reefer to get fuel as it ran completely empty.....how do you let a reefer run dry.....

Perhaps the driver had an emergency and had to drop the trailer and couldn't fill it up. Been stuck with one of those mercy missions before.

Since it pays by the day and not by the mile it affects the monthly and year-end mileage bonuses (if we're even still getting them that is.) I've gotta check to see what that was worth to me last year because Vic asked if I'd do the Publix mess after my upcoming hometime.
Now that I think about it, how much of that $250 is per diem, if any? If none is, we'll be taking less of it home up front as it'll all be taxed.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but some of us have to consider these things.

While all your points are valid,
    ... yesterday I made 60 CPM

so after backing out per diem and tax impacts, I guess I’m still net money ahead...

but ya, I need to ask those questions too

Recalc... if I back out $50 for the two extra stops ($25x2 as if I were OTR)... I made 47.85 CPM... so still not bad... got five stops today.

I inquired about this... they are looking into it to address it... possibly manual adjustments or it will slide into a deep crack... ;-)

Silverdriver and Barn Door Bill Thank this.

My son called me freaking out because his 401k has dropped about a grand since Jan. Asking should he take his money out. I tried to explain that in the long run, this is just a blip and that he need not panic. Hope I got through. I made sure he was investing for his future since I did not and am sure I’ll be moving in with them when I’m old and decrepit.

Makes you wonder sonetimes what people are thinking.
2200 miles with bottled water to Norcross.
Nestle in Fairburn Ga has a bottled water plant about 40 miles from Norcross.

Did anybody see the covid 19 paper work they have at the yard? Telling us proper hand washing techniques and all that. Meanwhile, there’s no soap in any of the bathrooms (at least the unisex one and the ladies) and half the time the drying towel rolls are all used up. WTG!!! How about giving us the proper things to wash our hands with?

    Silverdriver and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

Hand sanitizer is better than soap. Get a large bottle and carry it with you.
If the store is out, you can make your own, at home. Soap won't kill the virus, but hand sanitizer will.

How to make your own hand sanitizer
