Just picked up at trailer that was inspected most recently back in January, and has a tire that's as smooth as a cue ball. Only one groove on the tire. Rest of it is a racing slick.

The worst ingredient is shortness of breath, lung function/capacity. That is ICU care ASAP!

Oh I’m sure someone is making that Publix Money... but it ain’t all flowing down to the Drivers... might be making more CPM but much fewer miles... They have certainly calculated it out that an OTR Driver will make just as much doing this dedicated account as s/he would make on a 600 mile day... so they are swapping out maybe a couple less driving hours per day and adding bumping a few more docks with more city driving... aint a bad gig... but I’ll gladly come back OTR after this passes.

mainly did it to help restock food stock on the shelves, because of concern about the economic impact on trucking during this time (has shipping coolers dropped off?) and to get a feel of what Local Driving is like... just in case any Local Opportunities arise in SC... now I have a better feeling for Local vs OTR

oh, and yes, my backing skills and very tight maneuvers in a Sleeper and 53’ could always get a bit of polishing and with 3-5 docks a day, that is certainly happening... LOL :D

Luckily only one dock a day is tight or I come in the wrong way... nothing hit, yet

Got my two cases of water at WM today. Hopefully drivers will continue that honor system of only two cases while noone watching so everyone gets water and not just a few. Only put two pallets out and rest is inside.

Picked up med supplies in Ms headed to Tx then hardwood flooring to Sandston Va. 323 mile deadhead after unload to get the flooring. That shipping office at med supply place smelled of bleach fumes so bad my eyes and nostrils were burning.

I can verify that even if those 88734 pouches of tuna are expired by a year or 2, they are still good and tasty.

Like the water, I guess they will be gone before I return to a Terminal... LOL :D

and I’m betting that as soon as this virus scare is over it will be back to the same old thing... “and who are you? And why do you want to park on our yard??“

That's the adventurous trucker spirit that attracted me to this job in the first place.
