So I feel I’ve been a bit B itchy lately...
For the record, and to be fair,
both yesterday and today
was pretty easy money.

Felt good to break out of the
Big Green Quarantine!!!

 

My trip yesterday took me passed Ocala, FL... so I opted to stop at the Swift Yard to see what they had left... not much... just a variety of water and flavored water... {shrug}

Stopped at Walmart tonight... please note, it is I’ll advised to shop at Walmart on the first of the month during a pandemic... what was I thinking???

 

I was at Walmart and Publix today, didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Maybe its a north Florida thing. That's like a whole different state up yonder.

 

How’s the job search going?

 

Haven't heard anything from the local job apps I have out. Going to wait a couple weeks or so before I start exploring OTR options. I have enough savings to keep me solvent for the next 4-5 months so I don't want to rush into anything. Definitely don't want to get stuck in a truck halfway across the country if things get really bad and states start closing borders.

Just spoke to a Publix Company Driver... I asked how things were going and if they were finally getting a breather... he said “ya, now it’s just hard to get hours... went from 15 down to 8 a day and they still have you guys running.”... guessing they aren’t as thankful we are here helping now... LOL ... well we knew they would get caught up just didn’t know when...

I think we are here for another week and a half... unless they change the agreement or pay to change it... no clue how it’s written up but ya, we are now no longer “helping” the Locals.

 

Might not have been any different than any other 1st of the Month... just more masks... and another reason not to be too close to the crowds.

Publix has been limiting the number of people in there stores, or at least one told me they were... and it’s not really all that crowded in them either... but that crowd density differences may be normal... I don’t shop Publix too often, until I started hitting 3-8 a day that is... now Im shopping there a bit more... lol

 

600 bucks a week on top of your unemployment.
For 4 months.
That beats the unknown out here.
I'm hoping to get laid off.

 

Yeah don't see the Publix deal lasting much longer,when it's over might go home an self quarantine for a few.
