After a few months she will be wanting you to get back on the road, lol. I thought you said you were gonna retire a couple years ago?

Greed overtook my planning. Lol. Actually, I had a hard look and long discussion with my wife. I saw what retirement did to my Dad God rest his soul. I’m healthy, still enjoy my job even though I despise the industry, so I’ll work as long as it stays the same. I’m not bothered by the company about time off and the 6 weeks vacation I take. So, I’ll work as long as it stays the same for me. But trust me, if something changes that will affect what I got here, or if I get a hair up my backside, I’m history.

Have you tried turning your engine fan on and idling the engine up a bit?

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

I always turn up the engine when idling, less soot build up. Volvo doesn't have a fan switch in cab and Im not going to get trouble going into the engine, lol!

On prior models of Volvo’s, I’ve been able to increase the RPMs on the engine to keep it from shutting down ... but on this 19xxx That doesn’t seem to work. Is there a new trick or just a finicky unit?
